Who we are,
and what we stand for.

We are so proud of our close-knit, friendly, and
knowledgeable team.

Our promises to you:

  • You'll be treated like an extended member of our own family – we call it the relative test!

  • You'll be matched with the best possible mortgage or insurance for your circumstances, always.

  • You'll feel well informed, confident, and happy in what we have done for you.

  • You'll feel supported the whole way.

Our story.

Hollybeck was started by Fiona & Sarah in 2015. Having worked together as brokers for many years previously, we wanted to start a brokerage that cut through the confusion of the mortgage world - helping our clients to feel supported and knowledgeable when it came to their finances.

  • 2015
  • 2022

Over the years we have slowly grown the Hollybeck family by carefully recruiting people who we know share our values, make work fun, and can make our clients feel like they matter. We all love what we do here, and we believe that shows - you only need to look at our reviews to know it's the truth.

We know that in our own small way we've made a big difference to hundreds of people's lives by making mortgages and insurances much easier to organise and understand, and we'll continue to do so.

Our family.

My Top Tip:

Always speak to a broker. Most brokers won't charge any fee for exploring your options, so you have nothing to lose by seeing what we can do. We see some weird and wonderful scenarios, so before you assume you can't get a mortgage, check with a professional.

Fiona Todd
Director | Mortgage & Insurance Specialist

My Top Tip:

Try not to rush into anything. Speak to the professionals, understand all your options, and have a plan in place. Having all your ducks in a row really helps for a smoother journey.

Tim Quin
Mortgage & Insurance Specialist

My Top Tip:

Check your credit score a few months prior to when you intend to buy your house. If it isn't excellent, speak to a mortgage adviser who will be able to help you identify why and discuss any potential implications this may have.

Ian Grummitt
Mortgage, Insurance & Equity Release Specialist

My Top Tip:

Get prepared! Make sure you have all the documentation that we'll need for the application process. It may be time-consuming but, get it right at the start and it will make the rest go much more smoothly.

Samantha Lee
Client Manager

My Top Tip:

My advice is if you don't understand something, please just ask. There is no such thing as a silly question and that is what the team are here for!

Janine Mitchell
Client Manager

My Top Tip:

We're here to help, so don't be afraid to lean on us as much as you need. When it comes to choosing a solicitor, use a firm who care about providing a great service. It makes such a difference to the whole house moving process to have a solicitor who is contactable and easy to talk to.

Clare Brooks
Finance Manager / Home Insurance Coordinator

My Top Tip:

When looking at your budget, make sure you consider the monthly cost of the insurances that you need to take, such as home & life insurance. These things shouldn't be an afterthought, but an important part of your overall planning.

Kate Brookes
Client Manager

My Top Tip:

Sometimes lenders will find anomalies on applications when they cross check to your credit file, which can cause delays further down the line. Being totally honest with your broker about your credit history and current finances really helps to prevent this.

Sometimes lenders will find anomalies on applications when they cross check to your credit file, which can cause delays further down the line. Being totally honest with your broker about your credit history and current finances really helps to prevent this. Downloading your credit file is a helpful way of seeing what your credit looks like.

Caring for the planet.

As much as we can, we're a paperless company, so you'll be able to sign forms digitally when you do business with us. Some mortgage companies still insist on the odd wet signature, but where possible we avoid the printer!

Video calling and working from home now means a much lower carbon footprint too, which is something we'll continue to embrace.

We also have access to a range of ‘Green' mortgages if you have, or are buying, an energy efficient property, which will reward you with a lower rate.

Trusted with your future.
